System Administrator Help For details on installing licenses and several others aspects of license management, such as checking out and in the licenses for commuting purposes, the Sentinel RMS SDK System Administrator Guide can be referred to as well. See also: Using the Sentinel RMS SDK System Administrator Help. NA

For a network application, you also need to ship the following:

>Sentinel RMS License Manager
Refer to Installing Sentinel RMS License Manager and Sentinel System Driver  for details on installing the License Manager. Also, make sure that the correct License Manager is being communicated with, by setting the License Manager using the LSFORCEHOST or LSHOST environment variable or by using the broadcast method of identifying the License Manager. See the Sentinel RMS SDK System Administrator Help for details on License Manager identification. This will also guide the end-user on how to set up and configure the License Manager.

>Utilities for commuter licenses
If you plan to allow your customers to check out commuter licensing authorization to laptop or standalone computer, you will need to also ship the WCommute (Windows only) and lcommute utilities along with the commuter license configuration file (commute.dat). The commute.dat file contains the locking information of the system for which a license is checked out. For remote checkout, the rcommute or Wrcommute (Windows only) utilities should also be supplied.
